Dave had the same piano teacher as Yes/Asia's Geoff Downes (Bryan Layton at Leeds College of Music) and finally got to meet Geoff for the first time on Cruise to the Edge in 2018, talking for ages about mutual friends from Leeds College days. Supports Darlington F.C.
